Damn, I've seen guitarists use gadgets such as wah-wah, distortion pedals, etc. but this is the first time I've ever seen an IBook on stage for a guitarist!! hahaha Dude's showing off that he has a laptop to impress the chicks! hahahah Its about time I got my $100 laptop that One Laptop Per Child (OLPC, the non-profit organization that Nicholas Negroponte set up in MIT) is giving out to Third World youths. Back off Bijay, you got competition!!

Use of music software is getting bigger and bigger nowadays. You can even use it as a recording studio. I tried one software having 48 tracks but the quality was so and so. He might have used to play tracks on which he could improvise.

It's not a big deal.
I can see some Boss Pedals(old ones), an amp modeller(looks like Digitech??),cry baby and a foot switch, it's not a whole lot. Using laptop to record this playing using a DAW is a good idea, unless he's trying to use softwares like NI Guitar Rig 2 or IK Amplitube 2 which are fine for recording but sounds like shit for playing live. Cannot compare with a real tube amp. There's the Mac, which means he'll definelty be using Logic if he's recording.
All and all, this is nothing big. I play like shit and the gears keep growing every year. I hope he plays better than me.

Tube Amp, yeah...its very expensive man. Good investment only if you play guitar for work or a real good tone chaser.

Poon Hill, you can get some cheap small tube amp too which are great for getting the divine tube sound libe Peavey Valve King, Crate Palomino and B-52's line of products. They're good, small if you cannot afford the big ones.
