Just one year ago, the only person you wouldnt like to be was Saurabh. After his sacking from the national side, he had some poor performances in the domestic cricket. People started to write him off. At the other side of the aisle, Sehwag was going great guns. And one year after, Ganguly is in, Sehwag is out. Looking forward to hear from the fans of Saurabh and Sehwag, or from their haters. I am the latter...

class is permanent form is temporary,Ganguly is definetely the best batsman and have great class,who will forget those great matches he plays iin the past ,he was terrific and can hit the balls outside the stadium,rembember he take 4 man of the match awards in just 7 games in sarjah,he is king of the off side and can play the spinners in the way no one can think also......No body is worst but ppl makes them that's it ,best of luck for ganguly for future.

Yes he is certainly good on offside and his majestic drive but dang the way he was brought back to team sends a wrong message. He did not have enough credential to get back kinto the team, the only reason he is back is he was in SA before. How insane is that. Indian management should learn from the english side who were ass whipped during the ashes.

..he is the same ,the same batsmen who used to play absolutely brillint ,his games shows class ,It is good that ,the game is in SA ,he will became fresh by playing in good air,he will defenitly come back..that's for sure ,he slices the ball in the off side in those days ,he can play man,I guess he is planning to take the captain again ,if that happens ,his games will change ,he can hit sixes in the style dancing down the pitch ,that's great,and if that happens this headache indian team can have last chance to comeback if not then the time will come some day where bangladesh will declare ,he can save it if he perform his same game of those time ,then no bouncers will b leave to the keepers it is hit for the six plenty times,he is great ....

I am waiting for the day Tendulakr gets dropped. It is not far if he keeps playing like this.

very good point saying class is permanent but form is temporary. ganguly has class, but i have never seen someone get out of form as consistently as him, and form is what gets you in and out of the side ...

on the other hand, sehwag ... we should never underestimate him... the first ever triple hundred by an indian, common that speaks for itself.

i agree with sahayog, if india is to make an impression in the WC, sehwag's gotta open the batting !....

N- did u suck any dick yet if not u do that. Ganguly played the bouncers well and he is the highest scorer in the indidan tour of SA.

He is the best captain of Indian cricket with dominating style. cant compare sehwag with Ganguly.

finally 2007 world cup will be of Australia no doubt about it! Indians are far away they will not reach finals.

Ganguly has always been a good player ..well everybody knows that he was the best batting performer in the recent SA series..and yeah i agree he even played the bouncer pretty well considering that it is one of his week spot..everybody has weaknesses..even Gilly has trouble with bowlers coming around the wicket and who can swing the other way...
but i still think that Ganguly does still does not have full confidence ...which he can bring life to by playing WI fast bowlers in non responsive pitches in India
well Sehwag is a neccesity more than anything .he is a proven matchwinner who can spin bowl very well..there should be a spot for him in the WC regardless of his current form..if at all for all the silly reasons he is left out than India has to go with Dhoni as the opener.

Hi hi-nanu Shewag is better for Test than ODI. you can see his past performance in test cricket...average is more than 50....and very good scorer in first inning...

No doubt about Shewag..he is better player indeed...for coming world cup,Indian team needs shewag in one day and he should be brought back in test when he gets his confidence level back...

Gautam Gambhir's domestic record is very appealing and I think he should be given opportunity to perform...

You can not ignore VVS for test...after recent performance,you can not ignore Ganguly either...It is very tuft to get place in Indian batting line up now...
