Nepal provides US $ 100,000 in relief to Sri Lanka.

Don't get me wrong guys. But just could not help but smile:)

I am all for the good cause. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace:(, and may god give strength to their loved ones, and the victim of this horrible natural calamity. Mother nature sometimes can be very cruel.

But still, could not help but smile, not at the situation but .. well.. ((NEPAL))) hehe. i hope u guys understand :)

IndisGuise:) :(

It's not WHO gives and HOW MUCH that counts.
It is the sharing of pain...being a good neighbor.

That's true, but everytime there is some natural disaster in India, B'desh or in other neighboring countries, Nepal has spared something as a good neighbor.

Nevertheless, it was an apprpriate gesture from Nepal govt for our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka in need. Though it was not a substantial aid from international standards considering the degree of devastation, it is a significant token of brotherhood from a country like Nepal who herself is mired in....god knows what not.

Tara pani Indisguise bro le bhane jastai Nepal le foreign aid diyeko bhanda kata kata kaukuti lagna aune. Naulo anubhuti bhayera hola. Euta ukhan yaad aayo, magi magi chorako bihe bhanera. Nepal govt ko daat bata pasina aayo hola.....foreign aid nadiu tyatro catastrophe cha chimike muluk ma.....aid diu, aafu kangaal.

Yestai ho jindagi.

I agree DP ji :)
If you didn't understand the smiling business above, here's the explanation for the convolution.

Nepal, being in the state that it is, ummm let's say, in the state of "Grand Design" ( as per Bakukkullo Baje), it just tickled my funny bone. Tyati matra ho. Like Jagaltey bro rightly pointed out, "Nevertheless, it was an apprpriate gesture from Nepal govt for our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka in need. Though it was not a substantial aid from international standards considering the degree of devastation, it is a significant token of brotherhood from a country like Nepal who herself is mired in....god knows what not."

Ekchoti hajur pani hasidihoss DP ji, ramailo huncha. Hehe. Not at the calamity but at the ummmmmm, just concentrating on the title.
"Nepal provides US $ 100,000 in relief to Sri Lanka. "

"Afai ta mahadev utano paar, kasle dela baar" and "Choreko dhan le kuni kasko bihe" bhanne bhanai yaad ayoo. Am not saying relevant, but well, just reminded me of tat.:p

And yeah like jagaltey bro said.. Nepal govt. lau katro marka hola... ali ali afno share ko pani ta gayo hola ni... "dheba". :)

Hehe..
Still smiling
IndisGuise:)

Ind,
I had already understood your smiling business. I also realize the situation of Nepal while offering the help. It's part of the money Nepal begged from some other countries, for sure.Yet, it feels good when Nepal offers help when neighbors are in need.
EU only gave 1 million dollars. Nepal's contribution is 10% of that. It's all good.
I was smiling from the very begining.

EU just gave $1 mil....

Are they for real? Are u sure? I would imagine, being such a big union of wealthy countries, they would dish out a lil more for fellow human being in difficulty. America le ta tannai dincha hola. Hoki ke ho.

Judging by the size and arthik awasta of different countries, Nepal certainly comes on top:)...
Hami Nepali haru je bhaye ni bahira bata chai dhaak dina chadainau :p heheeh.. (again, nothing against helping our neighbors),

Pashupati Nath le Hami Nepali KALYAAN garnu bhayeko jastai, Hamro chimeko haru ko pani kalyaan garun :),
Jai Nepal,
IndisGuise:)
