went to watch Closer by myself the other day. i am still reeling. i dont know how to describe the movie's worth. I gush once in a while but this one hit me like nothing else. here is the song from the movie by Damien Rice. dyam this song in the movie is haunting.

Now that's the movie I am talkin' about. I really enjoyed it when I watched it last week.
4 strangers, bizarre relationships, great performance (esp. by Natlie Portman) and the dialogues. "Girls can have most fun lying, without takin' her clothes off", something like that. LOL. Dialogues were really awesome. The way the story jumps from one "turning point" to another is simply amazing. haha... It's like a director cut the best pieces from a large cake, arranged it in an order and served it -- with dressings (dialogues).

Natlie portman is simply awesome, although all the four artists have got their moments to show their talent.
Short, simple and gripping, that's the way the movie should be. :D

The movie starts and ends with that song, doesn't it? And yes, that song just creates an environment on what the movie is all about. Like in Kill Bill, "My baby shot me down" song tells us whats going to happen in subsequent scene. EH. Worth a money.

yeah, kalanki the dialogue is great because the movie is based on the play by the same name. i enjoyed the dramatic feel of the movie. nothing happens, you know things happened just by what the characters say. and myan! some dialogue is rich, filthy rich!

for me Clive Owen stole the show. dang he is a focking cool beast in the movie. and the verdict from Cold Mountian still stands, Jude Law is just a pretty face. yeah guys check the movie out...if nothing else watch it to see natalie portman in her sultry-stripper-best!

Yup. Nothing happens, but we know things happened through the dialogue. haha...
Clive Owen was really a pervert in that movie, haha... The way he asks questions in the name of "seeking truth" is crazy. And what is crazier than that is the answers he gets. He plays his game, rest of the characters just tangle themselves in it.
Internet chat scene was hilarious. And remember the cigarette? LOL, everytime a girl offers a cigarette, they go "oh, i've just quit". and they end up smoking like crazy in the latter part of the movie. It's kind of symbolic to their weary lives after they get into relationship.
