I cannot connect to the internet after the system recovery, which was done thru CD not hard drive, pretty much like formatting.....any idea pls?? drivers
are all installed also no yellow flags in the device manager and
internet connectivity is also good, i checked it with the other laptop,
i also ran a ping on command prompt it doesn't show any connection to the router ......it is a Dell Inspiron 1420 on vista 32 bit......my warranty just expired and dell is asking $240 to fix it........pls help !!!!

OK, If you are connecting using your router just remove it and directtly connect to your modem. Reboot your PC and see if you get connect. Still can't connect then disable your card by going to the network connection of something and enable again and see if you can connect. I hope this will hep...
