Had there been no Nepal Army, Maoist would have captured Nepal by this time, no one would have been allowed to speak a single word against Maoists, YCL would have been the king of general people, whatever they say, whatever they do and whatever they make u to do would have been right and u speak a single word, you would be shot at no time.

I'm sorry to disagree. Army ko kaam thiyo raja ra praja ko rakshya garne.. raja ko shakha santaan sakhaap paryo.. army le kera herera basyo. Maubadi le hajaaraun ko sankhya ma janata maare.. what were the army doing.. eh sorry.. army is not to be used against its people.. tyahan pani army bekaar.. in the past 150 years, army has been used only as a "mohra" in the dirty game of power politics..

Samraat i think you forgot to watch this video. Watch it carefully. Analyze it and derive a conclusion what bulldozed maoist to come into fake peace accord.

this was the thing that was on my mind for a long time. In my opinion, army should be integrated into POLICE. And there should be small number of army in reserve. The number of police force in nepal is too low which was the reason why maoists flourished so much. In nepal, people do not feel like there is police as they are centralized in a place and large percentage of population is out of the contact of police force.

In this new era of democracy, there is no use of bulldozers. Janata are becoming more and more aware. Aja nabhaye bholi, bholi nabhaye parsi Mauists would have to come to mainstream politics. Like I said, army was "mohra" only.. just like hatti ko dekhaune daant..  khaane daant ta arkai chha.. lets not pretend that army had any role in anything other than maintaining Nepali ko shaan (khokro, if I may add). Army ko kaam ko protect the border.. khai ta.. border post haru ko abuse bhayo.. timi haami gayera jhagada garna jaane?
