Since Sajha started to charge money for posing about the room availability, and obviously people won't do that unless extremely necessary, where are all the people posting about their rooms now? Craigslist is full of junk (well take that with a grain of salt) and I am not aware of any other site similar to Sajha.

We are pleased to inform you that the efficacy of classified listings have gone up as a result of the fee charged.

Prior to fees there had been multiple cases of fraudulent and unauthorized listings which were unfortunate and caused undue mental strains on the affected individuals whose contact info were posted with malicious intent and without any sense of accountability.

Now, with the introduction of a minimal payment structure far less than other competitive sites, the effectiveness of the listings have gone up and become more trustworthy.

In addition to accountability the logic behind the fee is that if someone who has access to room or apt is going to have any inflow of cash by having a roommate or tenant then the small fee should not be a deterrent to their valid search.

On the other hand we still allow individuals looking for rooms to post their query in sajha for free. We support new students in their quest to look for anyone who can help them with available rooms.

Thesedays there are multiple websites who try to cater to popular notions so far as to unauthorized copying of classifieds from sajha to your sites without any credits - to give an impression of fake popularity. Can we block people from sending inbox message ? It is not only annoying content but it is getting worst and lower than you can imagine.
SajhaAdmin if you have access to my email, please have a look. Last time he used randikoban this time I can not mentioned and it is from TitoSatya.
