Yeah its kinda cool to see a Nepali place, but the video keeps on insisting that Mustang is like in Tibet, except for that one small part where it shows within Nepal;s boundary...but nice to see that anyways.....

Well, I first must thank Architect John Sandy for his commendable effort of restoring our price less art and treasure. Being myself an architect, I feel ashamed on behalf of whole nepalese architectc's community who always aspire to fulfill a " clients individual" desire and aim to create neo-archtiectural extravaganza which would have no cultural connection to their soil. While there are so much as an architect you could do, my dear fellow architects, you should open your eyes and enlarge your arena of professional practice to contribute to revive or lost treasure, cutlre and priceless art.

I sincerely urge our educators and scholars to do more research and bring these subject into mainstream curriculam, for both B.Arch and M.Arch ( historic conservation, or Urban Planning). Your little effort can contribute a lot , for the students, artists, local communites and to the whole nation. I understand we study extensively on newari art and culture, but it is a high time for us to go beyond the boundary of ktm valley and explore/study/reasearch and contribute.

For sure, after i am done with my study, I am going back to work as an architect, not limiting myself to Ktm valley. Anyone wish to do so feel free to shake hand with me!

The rumours spreading among my friends who have relatives working in Mustang, a group of researchers have found frescos that are older than those on the movie, somewhere in the deep Mustang. It's NOT been revealed for secrecy and for further studies. We do not know the condition of the painting, but it appears they're in real good shape, not needing any restorations. You'll hear about it soon. Trust me.

Make sure you also watch

Mustang: The Hidden Kingdom (1994)-narrated by Harrison Ford.

It shows in brief about the relationship between Mustang with Tibet. A must see.
