Bodmas, You do not have to take Bachelors again. With three-year Bachelors degree from foreign countries like yourself, most colleges will make you take three-four extra courses like pre-Masters courses and then allow you to take the core Masters courses. You can check the following universities that do so. And there are many more that you'll find if you do a little research. UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON (UTA): www.uta.edu UNIVERSITY F TEXAS AT DALLAS (UTD) WWW.UTD.EDU UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS (UD) WWW.UD.EDU TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL OKLAHOMA (UCO) WWW.UCO.EDU NIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS (UNT) WWW.UNT.EDU All these universities are from the North Texas and Oklahoma that I have a bit knowledge about. Check with them. With a reasonable GRE/GMAT score I do not think that there would be any problem. Good Luck!

Be sure of everything though. I did 3 years program and came here in US, shit i had to do 1and 1/2 years of garbage (Block filling courses like music, jogging, etc) as a transfer sudent.....i.e loss of time and money for sure. This is a very critical matter, so i advice you to take every step carefully.....as i don't want another person to go through like me.

Ask specifically if they agree to take u as a graduate student if u give a GRE Test. That is very important. Don't go for transfer student in Bachelors degree...its a swamp. You basically have to show your potential to be a graduate student. One positive step u can do is to send them your copy of courses u have tken along with its course of study i.e syllabus...that will help them to understand that you have a good potential to be a grad student of MBA. Besides that you have to contact with professors individually for possible Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant openings.

don't worry 3 yrs bachelors from nepal is nothing for them who have thirst for US education and culture and you also need to know how to clean dishes and work like donkey in indians and palestines gasstation and restaurent. so be prepared and come to burst your as$ for another 4 year. or stay in nepal vandalizing the political situation because you must have graduated from tribhuvan university's college like trichandra , rr, PK or acol...... 3 years bachelors my As$..

H2S, you post doesn't make sense to me. And more over I have very high respect for all the ppl doing their studies here working hard. And the question I asked was for a friends of mine. I already have a US degree and as u said I had bursted my ass and looking back I feel proud of every dollar I made, every credit card interest I paid, every dished I cleaned, and every customer I served. If you can't be useful shut the F up.

Well guys if you are prepared to wash dishes in restaurant,,it's better not to make it to USA,,there are more better options,,For MS one can easily get some RA or GTA that pays for tuition as well your living,,anyway

Kura bhada majne ko hoina. It shows how bad u want the degree. Ani nepali ko kura choda kun chai american le dish washing ko kaam gareko hudaina?Road may be easy for some for other it may be difficult, the only thing i care about is reaching the destination, And keep in mind sadhai bhari bhada mazna lai padeko pani hudaina kosaile. Aba dhani bau ko chora chori ko example chai malai fit hudaina, My parents are neither rich and nor I am a rich dad kid. But everything I did for this degree makes me proud. This will be the last comment I am going to make in this post as the post is getting diverted from the subject.

dear bodmas, dont care what mean people says. kaam is kaam. come to the point, i was exactly in your situation when i came here. i had a three year B.Sc. degree from trichanda college and about 1 year of experience as a microbiologist. i came here as atransfer student in august 2006. i registered for general courses. they asked me to study about 54 credit hours of general course to earn a BS- which i did not want. in my first semester i scored a gpa of 4 and was selected in the president list for outstanding achievement. this opened the door for me to proceed for ms in health science with out completing my us BS. i was able to convince my supervisor to accept me as a graduate student and now i am in my second semester of my masters degree. i mean everything you can do depends on what you are and how you deal. i am sorry to say you that my university is arts and science centered. they dont have any masters or phd programme for accounting or management. but you can find one for your major. if u decide to study hard - welcome to USA. if not- nepal is much better place to live in and do business.

Bodmas, as you can see from the various advices given in this thread, there are various possibilities. Everything depends on you. Try hard in whatever you can do. I am pretty sure you can get in Masters program, you just have to try and make a good communication with departments of various universities and show your potential. Best of Luck.

Hey guys, great news!!!!!! I heard that Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma also accepts 3 years Bachelors from Nepal for their master/phd program. I also heard that you don't even need TOEFL scores if you talk to an Indian lady, Susan in the Graduate College. For more information please contact some Nepalese students in OSU.
