JTMM torches pahade vehicle PR LAHAN, Dec 23 - The Jwala Singh faction of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), a splinter group of the Maoists, torched a parked jeep belonging to local Shova Giri, here at Lahan Municipality Friday night. The front tires, battery and wires of the vehicle (Ba 2 Cha 6809), parked in front of the branch office of Janakpur Cigarette Factory at Lahan, Siraha, were damaged after JTMM cadres set fire to the vehicle. According to Siraha in-charge of the JTMM, Bhai Mandal, they torched the vehicle as it was found plying on the highway, violating their ban on all pahade's (people from hilly regions) vehicles. A month ago, the JTMM chief Jwala Singh, through a press statement, had announced a 15-day ban on all vehicles belonging to pahades on the East-West Highway beginning December 16. Tell me now why we should give citizenship to these people.

You know one thing I never got how can a Nepali be evicted in their own country. Wonder why Bhutan did not have to think twice before expelling Nepalese. Also when there was eviction from Indian states as well. We Nepali are easy prey, and will always be an easy pray to these people. Someone give me the justification.

Here is another link from Nepali Times: http://www.nepalitimes.com/issue/328/FromtheNepaliPress/12997 A new terror is being unleashed in the tarai by several armed groups. In the name of the Jantantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha, these groups are threatening, physically assaulting, abducting, and looting from hill migrants, who they call ‘pahadiya’. They prevent pahadiyas from working and constantly put pressure on them to return to their homes in the hill districts. Recently, TJMM president Jwala Singh warned that no pahadiya was allowed to ride or operate public transport for two weeks. “If anyone defies our orders, the vehicle will be destroyed anywhere, at any time,†said Singh. The TJMM declared that only tarai madhesis have the right to use the east-west Mahendra highway. A large number of families who have been living for the last few decades in Saptari, Siraha, and Janakpur are now considering leaving. The TJMM was responsible for the murder of RPP parliamentarian Krishna Charan Shrestha, and the group says any hill migrant who poses an obstacle to their activities could face a similar fate. The TJMM’s prime target used to be the Maoists, but now innocent civilians from the hills are falling victim to their political terror, and the tarai is becoming increasingly radicalised and militant. The government seems to be quiet even though civilians are being abducted, looted, and displaced from their homes. This issue has not even been discussed in parliament. In the name of madhesi rights, the fire of hatred against the hill migrants is spreading. The situation will go out of control if nothing is done right now. This is why the government should not delay in talking with the tarai leaders about resolving the issue, and not focus all their energy only on mainstreaming the Maoists. The government shouldn’t underestimate the TJMM, which has the potential to grow very large. The Maoists were also a small party once.

ne23pe said, "The government shouldn’t underestimate the TJMM, which has the potential to grow very large. The Maoists were also a small party once. " i agree with his opinion fully. our government should learn from our past mistake. if maoism was taken serious back in the mid 90s, it could have been difused. but as ne23pe said, they were taken for granted. we need more foresight from our leaders.

Finish Prachanda first, all other problems ight be solved easily. i said might.... not for sure... one another condition, of course, is Girija should go to hell or heaven as soon as possible too. I really don't care if he will go to heaven... but should not remain in Nepal to hurt nepalese further more. May be Nepalese should fight another movement to ban all current politicians... Otherwise, Nepal will go to INdia as its one of the states.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT A DIK HEAD!!!MR NE23PE. I AM TALKING ABOUT U. CHECK THIS OUT: http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=39415 WELL, PEOPLE IN TERAI ARE TERAIBASHIS. YOU SAID: "Tell me now why we should give citizenship to these people. " IF YOU ARE STILL THINKING, WE SHOULD NOT GIVE CITIZENSHIP TO THESE PEOPLE THEN YOU MIGHT LOSE ALL THE LAND IN TERAI SIMPLY COZ IT BELONGS TO THOSE SO CALLED "MADHESIS", "DHOTIS" OR "MARSIYAS" WHO HAVE LIVED THERE FOR AGES. IF YOU LIKE DOING RESEARCH THEN FIND OUT WHAT MITHILA MEANS AND HOW MANY NEPALI SPEAKERS WERE THERE IN MITHILA CENTURIES AGO. AND TELL ME HOW MANY MAITHLI SPEAKING PEOPLE WHERE THERE? THINK SMART OR MAKE NEPAL SMALLER ON THE MAP. I DONT WANT TO SEE A COUNTRY BETWEEN INDIA AND NEPAL. PEOPLE NEED TO THINK SMART AND ACCEPT THE FACTS RATHER THAN JOIN THE PROPAGANDA CREATED BY BUNCH OF DIK HEADS. MADHESIS ARE GOING TO BE A SIGNIFICANT PART OF OUR THINKING VERY SOON. NOBODY SHOULD DENY THAT NEPAL WITHOUT MADHESHI WILL BE NEPAL WITHOUT TERAI. BELIEVE ME I DO NOT WANT TO SEE NEPAL GETTING SMALLER IN AREA. GOD BLESS YOUR THINKING

Ok Dick sucker sahasday, keep your bihari brother attacking pahadi, remember in these pahadi you are including all groups of Nepal not just one particular group. Remember Pahadi population which even if you dont include Madhesi dhotis still constitute to be about 72% so just matter of time before you have some Pahadi start rataliating. Lets see your bihari brother make Nepal small.
