Maybe bhutanese dont like indian attitude for their own country... and they still feel all those bhutanese refuse are the part of their own country.. and they see nepalese very friendly... just a thought... Link is on the main page of sajha.com Bhutanese expats do have their own site with a forum much like this one. I checked it out couple of times. Well, they do have people with variety of opinion on Nepal, same as any people of other nationalities. But I found, overall, they are positive towards Nepalis.

Why not? I don't see anything wrong with having Bhutanese or Tibetan links here. Even if one thinks that the Bhutanese government is not friendly towards Nepal, one must realise that leaders of any nation do not necessarily represent their entire nation. Just look at Nepal and US... Besides, as people, we can learn to live in peace. I think Bhutan, Tibet, India matter enough in the lives of Nepalis to be included here on Sajha. B_D.

Hey man, there are lots of Nepali-speaking bhutanese who had migrated to bhutan from Nepal few generations ago. We still share the same culture, language, man. I met a few of them about two months ago near Leeds. I have lots of respect for them for maintaining the cultural things. Its nice to see them. Keep the pictures coming.

Bhutanese problems are created by none other than our own dear netas Girja. He and others alike are the one who incite soja nepali in Bhutan to fight for rights. Just because we got democracy 15 yrs ago does not mean we should mind others business. Look at what we got now. Na yeta na uta. Same goes to 1 lakh refugees in camps in Jhapa. So before we blame others, lets blame ourselves. But I dont think we are fed up with them. We have goru ko dimag mentality. We will still listen to unbelievable bhasan from neta and will get carried away in the near future. They will further ruin very little we have. This happens again and again and again. After all this is in our blood. At least, Bhutanese slapped in our face with powerful lesson. it does not matter whether they kiss Indian ass or whatever they do. Theirs lives, GDP are far better than ours. May be it is better if we lean something from them instead of showing egos.

http://www.sajha.com/photos/BhutanLhosarLA2005/slides/27.JPG Just curious as to what these Bhutanese dresses are called. They are like bathroom robes, but only come up to the knees. They looke really warm tho. Does anyone know where one can order them? I can just imagine the look on my colleagues if I show up one day wearing this dress.

Manish_321: Why Bhutanese pics album in Nepali site? I dont know. Maybe its a friendly jest of including our SAARC neighbour for our people to see. Secondly, about the Bhutanese refugees in Nepal, I must say that those problems arent solved until today because of the selfishness of Bhutan/Nepali/Indian gov't. India wants to monitor and make its own decision on small countries like us...Bhutan..really doesnt care if those peple return to their country or not..and Nepal, why should they rush...after all the economic state of that refugee area is flourishing..so there are in no rush either... I dont mind our friends(neighbour countries) being displayed in our site..After all what their King said ..isnt the voice of everyone..if that was the case..then people should judge us from what our King, deuba, girija..adn tell u, we would look stupid. adios
