i mistakely removed my Microsoft word 2002 from my computer.Now i can't type and read all of my documents.So what do i do now?Is there any way i can get back my Microsoft word 2002..or..How can i type now?hoping to get back from you!

Download and install this free file recovery tool and see if it will recover your Word and any files/documents that are also lost:

If this does not work and you have your CD for Microsoft Office, do re-install from this. In future, I suggest you back up everything on you computer, preferably to an external meida. Good luck.

Did you try system restore? in Win XP

Go to Start>Program>Accessories> System Tools> System Restore

Select a date just before the date you uninstalled word. Try this it should work. System will rollback all the changes done after that date. Should work.

Click on START/RUN and type winword and press enter. You cannot uninstall word without the original CD docked in the CD Drive.

and i do not have the CD to re install.
So far....i downloaded the word viewer..now i can read my documents. and i downloaded another software like microsoft word..called Abiword..it works almost like microsoft word...but if i send you that documents in your computer and if you don't have Abiword..you can't open that...So i need my microsoft word back..Any how!!

you can use any peer to peer software ( like emule,edonkey) etc to download MS Word Installer.( cracked one)

Staroffice is free, it is a full suite of office applications. You can download it from

go to openoffice.org and download their office suite....it's free and I think it's compatible with microsoft office....good luck!

i have a solution for you.
go to bestbuy, fry's or office depot buy one office 2003 and install it again.
it will work definitey.
if you are student go to university bookstore buy student version. it will cost not more than 20 $.

Thank you all for great suggestion.I tried some of them but did not work any one.Any way finally i am using Abiword and save the file in Microsoft word(doc).I thik This is ok for me until i don't get the Microsoft CD..
