Biru I hadn't even noticed that....
At times, it's hard to believe the amount of respect that Hinduism gives to other religions... Secular or not, Hinduism always preaches love and harmony... We should be nothing, but proud about it...

Thanks for the link Biru...... I knew Bhole Baba wore and carried all those stuffs with him, but didn't really know the reasons behind all that.. The article indeed is an eye opener.. ....
But Biru, I didn't get the "kundalas" part.. As far as all his paintings are concerned, Bhole Nath is shown wearing the same kind of kundalas in both of his ears.. So kaha bata yo two different kinda kundalas ko kura aayo??? Besides what have Alakshya and Niranjan got to do with it?? Afterall both the Kundalas are shown by signs and are seen by our mortal eyes haina?? Biru dahlin' ali bujhaidine kashta gara na...

"Kundalas (two ear rings): two Kundalas, Alakshya (meaning "which cannot be shown by any sign") and Niranjan (meaning "which cannot be seen by mortal eyes") in the ears of the Lord signify that He is beyond ordinary perception. Since the kundala in the left ear of the Lord is of the type used by women and the one in His right ear is of the type used by men, these Kundalas also symbolize the Shiva and Shakti (male and female) principle of creation".

Mokshya

yes indeed it is little unusual. three things:

1. They are talking about the Ardhanarishwor which holds true because left part is Shakti and right part is Shiva

2. It can be just like our hands, nostrils etc eventhough they look the same but don't work the same or at least theoritically not he same. remember in Pranayama breathing from left nostril is considered calming and cool while breathing from right nostril is considered to boost up energy level and associated with fire.

3. it already declares it as Alakshya (meaning "which cannot be shown by any sign") and Niranjan (meaning "which cannot be seen by mortal eyes") so it is supposed to be beyond our perception. Only Bisuddha yogis and yoginis are able to see perhaps.

that is my limited understanding talk to you later my yogini
