Hopefully it will not happen. But we never know. We all know what happened to Sikkim. I wonder what will we (public) and our politician, king, army and maoist will do? I wont be surprized if india moves ahead to make Nepal another Sikkim in next ten years or atleast like Bhutan.
If I will be the commander or Prime minister or president of Nepal, these will be my actions against India.....
--- Since our military is very small and weak with limited man power and ammunition and military hardware, we ALL KNOw that we cannot fight conventional war with India. I will fight prefer to fight guirella war against India using manpower and expertise from Nepalese army and Maoist.
--- I will let Indian army to enter easily inside Nepalese border and cross Terai towards hill so that we can trap them in hills and fight guirella warfare against indian army.( Situtation similar in Iraq right now). I will make hell to Indian army to cross every feet of Nepal's land.
--- I will divide soldiers into two parts...Nepalese army and Napalese Guirella Army ( maoist soldiers). I will send Nepalese army in the border area and inside India to attack against Indian interest. And i will have my guirella army to stay in Nepal's village and jungle and attack Indian's convey and army. I will have no shortage of man power because there will be millions of people in line to voluntare....
--- Of coarse, I will order army to bomb bard all the river damn which are in the border area.
--- Since Nepal's economy is based in India, we will have hard time in everything. Shortage of food, fuel, medicine and many other things. But I will tell Nepalese people to be patient and try to deal with new situation in this war time. I will request them not to do nepal bandh in war time. Country is in war. We have to face many hard things. If there is no Nepal there are no Nepalese.
-- If somebody tries to disrupt my governemtn policy or act to harm our country in the favor of India, I wont hesitate to take harsh decision.
---I will secretly tell Nepalese people in indian army to attack their own base and try to destroy India's infrastrucutre as much as they can...All Nepali people will praise them.
---- I will ask for volunteer to join Nepalese army so that they can fight guirella warfare against India. And I am sure millions will be there eager to commit them to save our mother Nepal.
---Nepalese people living abroad, I will request them not to come back to Nepal, I will rather tell them stay in the country where they are and help my government economically. There are atleast 400,000 Nepalese people abroad accept in India. ANd they can contribute millions of dollars every month to my government to save our nationality and fight against crusader.
---I will try to convince China to help us. I am sure they will. I will get military hardware and ammunition from China as much as I can. I will go to other nepal's friendly nation and convinve them to sopport my country.
-- I will try to convince UN and European nation to act against India. If they support India's action to attack Nepal ( like they are doing to Israel), I wont be scared. If I have to fight with the whole world, I will fight to save my country.

I dont want Nepalese people to suffer.....
But If India attacks is....we have to make hard decisions and be patient.

I think taking caution is better. So i would insist Nepal have five years or ten years development plan which is more focused on planning against any invasion. This development project will primarily deal with building bunkers and obstacles as well as building military installations in and around Nepal.
The project will primarily try an make Nepal independent of basic needs. Massive investment in new technology in agriculture and irrigation can elivate the food problem. similiarly the bunkers will also act as the refuse for the food depot during the wartime.
As the war preparation (not that we will attack first!), we would make it mandatory for every nepali of age between 18 and 35 to enroll in the military training. In training will focus in the gurilla warfare and snipering.
If people (like marwari or indian decent businesspeople) don't want to enroll in the military exercise than the government should excuse them by making them pay fines (hundred thousand rupee per person) that would generate extra revenue. The government should also invest in research and technology. In particular, new metal mines should be searched in the country. Reverse engineering of modern weapons can also help manufacture weapons at the lower cost. Besides, the country should also purchase new and sophiticated weapons from other courntries, like nuclear missiles and fighter jets.
Nepal should also ban free travel between the two country and any defaulter should be shoot on sight. this should discourage the cowards.
Nepal should also develop nexus with pakistan, Bangladesh and other gurrilla factions fighting inside India against it's own government in this war. we should ease the relationship with groups as the enemy of the enemy can be a good ally.

That is exactly what Palestinians (both Fataha and Hamas) are doing agaisnt Israel. And you know how USA treats those groups, especially hamas- terrorist. And since USA will always back India no matter what, we will also be called the same.

India cannot attact Nepal because they are afraid of Bir Gorkhali.

I will prepare myself by improving my stone throwing skills, i will put pan parag, roti, am ka achar etc on a homemade trap to lure the invading indian soldiers, i will post more ideas later

What a Joke?? Why would India attack Nepal?? Just to take over 23 millions of uneducated, irrational, illogical Nepalese out of which almost half of them are Indians in the first place. And don't worry Mr. Balbahadur we will not get a chance to make and implement any war plans to defeat India. Our dear respected political leader will do that on our behalf. They will organize a 8 party meeting at PM's residence and invite few communist leaders from India as its observer and declare Nepal as a 29th State of India. We Nepali as usual appreciate this decision as a loktantrik decision and celebrate Deepawali.

yeah, why would India want to invade nepal? we have no oil...yes, we have tons of water but all of that flows right into india and they have already fked us with those giant dams along the borders that will either flood us when we don't need water or create drought when we need water...and it has already meddled with out every system....

Nepal is located in very important strategic location. Its important both to India and China as well to United States.

If full scale war breaks between India and China, india will definately invade us so that it can make a very impotant strategic base.....It will prefer Nepal to invade and make base rather than China making base or using Nepal against India.

And I think Nepal has 100 time more thing than Sikkim. Sikkim didnt had anything comparing to nepal...then also they invaded Sikkim!!!!!!!

Another thing to be noted my friends.....as you all told that Nepal does not have any thing accept having a small draeing in world picture, i think Nepal has lot of things. And it has lot of patriotic people who can die for Nepal if needed.
