As much I hate to see this, Jerry Buss apparently is more into women and booze, rather than trying to build a winning team...Since he gave the helm to his son, Jim Buss, Lakers have been a mess....Other than Kobe, they have garbage players.....And, no way in Hell is Kobe taking that......And taking all the blames for things he never did a la Shaq and others.....This is worst case scenario, but if they are not bringing anybody worthy to play side by side with Kobe, sure as hell they might as well trade him !! This really SUCKS big time !

Oh By the way, Shaq is now agreeing with Kobe that, it was not Kobe, but the Owner, Jerry Buss who ran him out of town....Freaking Drama !! Only in LA.....Kobe...u r still my man..!

I don't think any of the playoff teams will go for Kobe. Maybe Timberwolves will. It will be a good place for him and KG. If Kobe ends up in timberwolves and the wolves manage to get a good guard....maybe conley Jr. watch out for wolves next season.

if kobe goes to timerwolves then kg has to go to lakers. that means same thing again, kobe and kg in another bad team. wont be beneficial for neither team nor for those players. best option is to trade kobe to bulls so that lakers also can get some good young talents. or they can trade him to dallas for dirk if mark cuban agrees.

No way Dallas is going to trade Dirk for Kobe. Dallas is not a one person team. Kobe will not fit in Avery's style.

I doubt Kobe will be traded though...what Lakers needs to do is fire that pathetic GM Mitch ..and bring in Jerry West...Trade Bynum and Odom for someone who can play.....Lakers have betrayed KObe...and did nothing in past 3 years to get better...rather, they regressed...I trust what my man Kobe did though ! He had to do it....he can't sit around with bunch of garbage players and carry them all the way to playoffs year after year, just to lose in the 1st round !

kobe will be traded for sure. he wants to get out from LA. he cant win over there coz lakers dont have good players to build the team around him. nobodys gonna take odam and brown. and even if some team takes them they wont get any better player than those two guys. so no use of staying in LA for kobe. instead if he goes to some good team, he has chance to win one more championship without shaq. thats why he will go to some other team.

Well, If you heard his interview with Dan Patrick on ESPN radio, he said if, and that's a big IF Jerry West returns to the Lakers, he is willing to back off....This whole thing started when one of the Laker front office personnel told LA Times that he ran Shaq out, which to Kobe was more of a slap in the face...He would care less about what we public or media would say/think...but one of his confidant falsified the truth becoz he started lobbying for Jerry West....I smell rats in this deal...seems like it was Mitch (Current GM) who did this to save his job, and make Kobe look bad...as he's been unfailry looked down upon so many times....

I felt Chicago might intice Kobe a bit....going back to where MJ used to be and all that...but, I just don't see Lakers trading him....first they won't get equal value, second ...Kobe is the best player in the league...Lakers and LA needs star power...not some straky jump shooters....

as far as kobe goes ..i think if at all traded ..which is unlikely.. he should be traded to a team that has a good guard ...lakers are in a very bad situation .with kobe they manage to atleast get to the playoffs..now thinnk widout him they might aswell be drafting the no1 pick year

This is what you call Laker Drama. I guess Kobe does not want to be traded anymore. I am sorry but all of your above analysis regarding Kobe's possible destinations are way off. Whenever anyone talks about Kobe, they always say that he ran shaq out of town. Apparently, that is nt the case. I am happy for him. Everyone keeps talking about how he needs ONE more good player. But that team is very far from being fixed by one player (unless he is KG). They need more role players. I honestly think that Odom is a pretty decent 2nd go to guy. They just need other people to step up. In the beginning of the season, they were doing amazing and then the injury bug kicked in. Just a thought... Plus, they invested a lot in Radmanovich and he really screwed up... so I dont know what the hell they are going to do with his contract.

Kobe did run SHAQ out of LA. That's the truth. He might have been played, but he played his own game as well.

If you remember he only signed the contract after SHAQ was out of town. He might NOT have done it deliberately, but he did.

When Shaq himself came out yesterday and said it was not Kobe, but Jerry Buss, the Owner who didnot resign him, and people still do not wanna listen to it, or are selective on what they wanna hear....

Let truth be told, this whole thing started when Jim Buss criticized Phil, they Jeanie Buss criticized her own brother....and later Kobe suggested the Lakers' front office was a mess......All he did was stated the obvious,.....and made it known that Jerry West was the only guy who could fix this messy situation.....Its just so happens that one of Laker's front office personnel, aka Mitch Kupchak's right-hand man tells the LA times it was Kobe was ran Shaq out....How ironic....and that too after 4 years...like we everyone was waiting for that news....It was all well thought about, well planned attack on Kobe, and I feel, Kobe has every right to feel like he was back-stabbed, and made the scapegoat......As long as Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak are making decisions in LA, Lakers will be on a free fall.....Its just so unfortunate that they are playing this Game at Kobe's expense..........If I am Kobe, I would do the same....!

Kobe waited 3 years. He thought he was MJ (or even better), boy he was wrong. What MJ did was, he would bring out the best of his average team mates, be it be Scottie Pippen, or Horace Grant. Kobie lacks that skill drastically.
