Narayangadh is a city in [Chitwan] district lying adjacent to district-headquater Bharatpur in the middle part of Nepal, 100 km due west of Kathmandu, at the Narayani River where it leaves the Mahabharat Range. It has about 90,000 inhabitants and it is situated at a latitude of 27.70 deg. and longitude: 84.42 deg. Its area is 554.0 km².

The Narayani takes up the Kali Gandaki, Seti, Budhi Gandaki Trisuli Rivers, thus draining the area (Narayani Basin) between Dhaulagiri (west of Pokhara) and Helambu (north of Kathmandu).

Narayangarh is an important trading centre for the central Terai area, has a small airfielt with connections to Kathmandu, and is the gateway to the nearby Royal Chitwan National Park. It is also gateway to Kathmandu's major road link to the rest of the country (the highway to Lhasa is blocked by landslides, the Naubise - Hetauda highway is in poor condition and time consuming and a new road from Dhulikhel to Kamalamai (Sindhulimadi) is under construction).

I am from Bharatpur born and raised. Went to Small Heaven. Wonderful time, great place. Das dhunga was a great

As most of all mentioned having famous Tas in Narayangadh, it was so nice Hitchhiker mentioned ' लीला चोक को साइला को पसलको मम र भुटेको भुँडी' as well.

I was born and raised in lila chowk, and anything that reminds me of my hometown, just makes me feel very good. Sure, all of you guys feel same way about your hometown..

About Small Heaven School,
Actually my dad who is a school teacher himself by profession, started this school with his few friends (as he didn't had enough funding back then) and after lots of sincere hard work, school did very well and produced good results as well, and I’m very glad to say that I was also from the first batch, that was very long time ago. I think it was around 1986.

Now it’s been good few years, somebody else bought the school, as few of my dad's so called friends - the culprits who just sold themselves for bit of money that they received back-hand (i strongly believe so!) and for their own selfish reason.

While my dad tried so hard to save the school as it was his years of unconditional very sincere hard work and something he really enjoyed but he couldn’t do anything to save the school.

It is from my dad that I learned, life is not all about money but it’s also about following your passion, doing or at least trying to do the right things in our life and when you run, success is not always about becoming first but also improving your record. Be happy for what we do and always learn the lessons when something go wrong. And still, never treat anyone as enemy, practice your good faith, and always practice the teachings of Gautam Buddha.

I’m very proud of my dad, and at the time of difficulty I always think of him, what I learned from him and I get lots of strength.

I’m 100% sure, for all of you guys as well, it’s the similar case. It'll sure be nice to read and learn something valuable from your experience too.

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, I agree Sunny about Small heaven school.
The founders did very bad job solding a established school to some business man.
As me also from same school. I hate those who did it.
Sunny first batch is of around 1991 not 86. dont forget ur past.......

any way we all are missing our chitwan.

Chitwan...of course a very good place...people are aware of socio-political environment.Politically very advanced...hardworking men and women...Moreover people from Chitwan has very much realized that : "The only place where success comes before work is in a dictionary." - Vidal Sassoon

And nikunj, you got that right, but I just don't remember anything about you. Hope you don't mind, you know it's been very long time now...
