As for me...I'm still searching for that lost childhood excitement,  charm and thrill of Dashain and Tihar....For now all I can see are piles of papers to be written, exams to study for and all the  not-so-fun aspects of academia ...hehehehe...I better not ruin your festivities..Happy Dashain & Tihar! While at it..Happy Halloween as well..:-)

Sndy di – Happy Dashain to you as well..like you said Miss home ..miss the real smell of dashain….but for me this dashain is far better than the last one and I am enjoying every bit of it…ani I am out of town sndy di…so access to sajha was a bit difficult…but I will be back to my regular hours from tomorrow….

Good Morning Folks!

Fall is finally here (at my end of the "no civilization" zone as per some of my East coast friends).

Audrey- I'm not much of a writer (not being modest here), I guess thats why I haven't come
up with anything after my first attempt..:-) As for the fav book..I don't have any as I feel it
wouldn't be fair to the writers to tag or categorize them...Have tried to read "The Inheritance of Loss"
for several months now..For me it has been one of those writings, that I don't want to rush into finishing,
I feel like savoring every bit of it. And I haven't managed to go any where beyond the first chapter.
Everytime I turn the pages, it has to be from the first, thats how much I am relishing it..hehehe..

She writes about everything I dreaded (for instance foggy days, when Sun was at a distant horizon)
when I was schooling in the Hills, I guess thats why it is so exciting to read it over and over as it
forces me to reminisce my childhood days (both foggy and sunny days).

So, when is your next baby due (paper one of course)? :-)

Dashain plan? damn, I wish I could get a room in a motel this weekend and crash there, but I can't do that... :D I am perpetual broke. Too many people coming to the house this weekend, I will be lucky enough to get hold of a broken couch. Thats the worst part of being a handsome-jawan guy. :P -- तेरा उमेराँ हामी ढुंगाँ सुत्थ्यौ -- my grandfather would say. If I were a girl nobody would have said "go get your own ****' couch" -- छोरी मान्छे, घरकि लक्ष्मीलाई कहाँ जाँ पायो त्यही सुताउने -- you know how it goes. :D But, apart from that, I am going to have a blast I guess.
