For the people who attended ! what do you think about the new years eve dance party in DC? Me personally think that the party sucks big time. From venue to the music and from drinks bar to the food. Feel sorry for the people who waisted their precious moments in the party like that. Complete disaster....

next time, sabai keta haru le, non-nepali girls haru lyaunu parcha.. so that dancing wouldnt be so weird like it was...

It doesn't have to be non-nepali girls to make it not so weird. You can do a few things to make it happenning:
-not too bright lights
-have a chill out bright section away from the main dance section
-DJs can't play hard and fast music right from the begining, gradually pick up the pace and when peole get little tipsy, pump it up
-last but not least, get that alchohol flowing, I hear people complain about drinks being expensive, You HAVE to get people drinking to get everyone in the same mood. Was there free Champagne at midnight?

ahah.. true that bedrock...... free champagne, yeah it was... but oh well.. i didnt get to drink it, but my shirt sure did... ahah..

This was my first time getting involved, otherwise I was just a partygoer too... Drinks could be cheaper and will be cheaper next time...... I still want to know what RUPEE(freaking Rupee has been killing since new years) is.... I thought your fav song was Rubina Pablo's song... Oh!! well..........

One more thing.......... me personally, I not like the above Bhanja and Bhanji....... I let my nephews and neices do what they want... they are over 21, they should be able to judge what is worng for themselves... u know wat???before the valentine's day......we should do a Dance thingie to help the Tsunami victims....i mean just think about it....the money can help out a lot..and save a lot of lives..

There are multiple other ways to help Tsunami Victims including the Red Cross, Unicef etc. It would be rather awkward to drink and dance and be helping victims at the same time. Just a thought.

By the way, to all DC party people, what's your most favorite club in DC?

If u gonna help someone....it don't matter how help them.......if u see a black person dying...u not gonna help them coz they're black??...the most people will donate is $10 ....but when they wanna drink....they can spend til $50......just think about it.....and think about the people just trying to hook up or watever....they'll atleast buy the tickets to get in...

I would imagine 'dalli' was suggesting about donating the money generated by organizing such an event. I agree with your spirit 'bedrock', but then wot about 100s of benefit concerts, charity shows (fashion, dance ect), and many other entertainment programs. As long a the intention is good, and does not violet human spirit it should be fine.

The spirit is NOT to make merry and dance around on Tsunami victim's plight, but to generate some money to donate for a great cause. I am certain, as long as every dollar generated would help them (Tsunami victims) with some food, some clothing, some medecine or just about anything, it doesn't count if the money came from ones private pocket or from attending any events.

Hello all! I have no comments. I went last yr., party wasn't so bad. But, I did expect having fun of dance party instead of just dancing with couple of friends. I missed this Extravaganza DJ in DC due to my preparation of Arlington Night. We had very good night according to participatingpeople said.
