I agree there are many contributions from madhesis. But don't exaggerate the contributions, terai and pahad complete each other. But if you want to talk hard, lets do it. Its not that all pahadiyas will die of hunger if terai people did not grow rice or vegetables. Be realistic. Pahad also has many other sources of food. You talk about rangas and khasis, we can live without eating momos and sekuwas. we can stop buying rangas and khasis, and you can live with them. By the way what else do pahadiyas get from madesh besides agricultural products ???? But if pahad is not there how will you get electricity ??? have you guys thought about it or only thinking about boka and khasis ????
Concept of separate tarai is a myth. It cannot survive by itself. It doesnot have any source of income besides agriculture. Even if you separate from pahad, biharis will get rid of all the original madhesis in no time, madhesis will still be the opressed one, this time only the opressor will be different, it will be biharis. If there was no Nepal biharis would rape madhesh openly, and india would support silently.
Lets not go too far, nepal is not like the property you inherit, that you get a separate piece if you can't live with your brothers, if you can't live like brothers you get out of the house, thats the rule of any country.

The domination against Medhesis is the result of mistaken identity, they have to understand that. Once the confusion is clear, they are not taunted after that. I know many people rom madesh, we are as good friends as others. But they have to admit that indians are taking advantage of their identity. Many of the people who come to work in kathmandu act as if they are from madesh, but infact they would be from bihar. They know they are not made fun of once people know they r nepali. Mistakes made unknowingly should be forgiven, they are not intentional. But many madhesis like tarai_basi make fun of pahadiyas knowing they are nepali. The question is not whether you should forgive us or not? all were done unintentionallly. ...... but if should you be forgiven spitting venom against nepalese in full conciosness?????

I won't say much here, guys who post/visit this forum haven't been to the villages and countryside of terai, only word for you guys is IGNORANT, Nepali proverb, a frog in a well! You don't know anything about madheshis, what they go through in their everyday lives-when they go to bank, government offices anywhere where the authority is a pahadi, a madheshi gets so badly humiliated! This is a bitter fact in a madheshi's everyday life. Bottomline, we want a separate state not bcoz we don't like pahadis but becoz you guys can't stand to us!!!Sometimes it's so hard for me to understand how the hell can a person have so much of hatred against a particular ethnicity. What wrong have we done to you pahadis? I think it's how you are raised, even when you are in the womb, already then you hear your mom saying how disgusting madheshis are, they are not like us, they don't belong to Nepal, be careful with a madheshi ( are we terrorist or what?) and this is not gonna change overnight. Of course anything can change, but it might take centuries, but we don't have time to wait for centuries, maybe by then all the madheshis would be completely wiped out of Nepal. Which is what we madheshis dont want, that's why we want REPUBLIC OF MADHESHS asap!! It might take 5-10 years, but we will get it eventually.
