Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was on Sunday banned for
three Test matches after the ICC Match Referee Mike Procter upheld the
Australian charge that he had racially abused their all-rounder Andrew Symonds,
a decision against which the Indian team will appeal within 24
hours.
Procter gave a marathon six-and-a-half hour hearing to
Harbhajan, who denied the charge and was supported by skipper Anil Kumble,
Sachin Tendulkar, manager Chetan Chauhan and media manager MV Sridhar during the
deliberations.
Procter also heard Symonds, who was backed by
Australian captain Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden, Michael Clarke
along with team manager Steve Bernard, who attended the hearing to testify
against the Indian spinner.

Well well, those trivial things (clapping on Sachin's century), I care less but man any team should break the complete dominance of Australia in Cricket and India is one of the best teams for that.

Nodoubt Aussie played well and indian as usual are the losers. I like the way Ricky's team pressurized Indians. At the end of the day as we knew it Australia won. A gr8 final day to watch. Aussie rocks and they will win 4-0. A shame for India.

If you go back few months Indian crowd in Varodara was completely racist against Andrew symonds calling him monkey and they imitated monkey as he is from a Caribbean decent.
Australia pressurized India right from the word go ..The wickets of VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar was so planned ..Laxman received out ,in,in,out, and then finally in swing to trap him right infront of the wicket..Similarly,Tendukar was forced to stay inside the crease against his will as Gilchrist came upto the wicket to Stuart Clark...The match was drifting away from Aussie at the end ..thanks to great temperament and character from Anil Kumble..But Michael Clarke rose to the occasion and produced an amazing victory...Harbhajan Singh is a pretty good bowler but he is such an asshole as far as cricketing spirit is concerned.. Everybody knows what happened, and we know that ausssie are better then india but this test was something exceptional than just a cricket. Steve bucknor gave 11 wrong decision against india and benson supported him. Does anybody know how ganguly was given out with the response of Mothe Fker pointing. He is a big ass hole. And if not in test india will fight back in ODI's. I am waiting for some threads in Sajha after the tri series.

BCCI to order the Indian team to remain in Sydney.
Australia should immediately sack its arrogant and abrasive captain Ricky Ponting and it's a surprise that India has not called off the tour and gone back home, said an aghast Peter Roebuck.
Lambasting the members of the Australian side for their rude behaviour, Roebuck, the former Somerset captain who is based in Sydney, singled out Ponting and said the captain must be sacked.
"If Cricket Australia cares a fig for the tattered reputation of our national team in our national sport, it will not for a moment longer tolerate the sort of arrogant and abrasive conduct seen from the captain and his senior players over the past few days," said the furious former cricketer, also one of the best cricket writers of his era.
"Beyond comparison it was the ugliest performance put up by an Australian side for 20 years," he wrote in his column for 'Sydney Morning Herald'.
"The only surprising part of it is that the Indians have not packed their bags and gone home. There is no justice for them in this country, nor any manners," he observed.
He said the lack of sportsmanship among the Australians hurt their young fans and former players alike.
"Pained past players rang to express their disgust. It was a wretched and ill-mannered display and not to be endured from any side, let alone an international outfit representing a proud sporting nation," Roebuck wrote.
According to him, Ponting and his men had embarrassed Australia through their triumph in the spiteful second Test.
"The notion that Ponting can hereafter take the Australian team to India is preposterous. He has shown not the slightest interest in the well-being of the game... not a single mark of respect for his accomplished and widely admired opponents."
He was no less harsh on the hosts for targeting Harbhajan Singh, who has been slapped a three-match ban for racially abusing Andrew Symonds, a charge the player and his team have vociferously refuted.
"Harbhajan Singh can be an irritating young man but he is head of a family and responsible for raising nine people. And all the Australian elders want to do is to hunt him from the game."
