Ohterwise, it doesnt make me sense to put a photo of somebody without any achievment or whatever.....

Everybody deserves 15 minutes of fame. So, if Shefali chooses to be on spotlight, just let her have it.

As San as clarified, anybody can request to be featured in the photo gallery. No need to get personal, that's all.

I second chip, whats so big deal, her personal choice. Anybody can be featured, not only her. She dared to be featured, you can too :-)

Sajha is not a site like Cybernepal which is dedicated to featuring models and supermodels. Sajha is about plain ordinary Nepali people like you and me, and there does not have to be a special reason to celebrate ordinary lives. Everyone's special until they prove otherwise.

Sajha is a community of Nepalis and it is a bold step when someone agrees to be featured specially when we know how much scrutiny one goes through by being featured. When we are personally insulting to a featured member, we are discouraging other ordinary people from taking a bold step and introducing themselves.

I believe in Live and Let Live and encourage spreading the message of Peace, Love and Harmony. Let us be guided by positive thoughts instead of negative ones.

Jivan Yatri needs to look into his own mirror (and borrow one from his neighbor if he can't afford one) before making such ridiculous comments...he should simply heal his own wounds before he starts spreading his trash around... Shefali....apparently...you've agreed to get your pics posted on the site...i will say ..u got balls...rightly so...congratulations ... you apparently know what you were heading into when you agreed to this and it takes a helluva lotta guts to go thru the comments / criticism you get later on...i think you look very sweet...U go gal!!!

I find her extremely pretty, almond eyes and dusky skin, reminds me of a beautiful puerto rican belle in my school. Tired of seeing Aiswharya Rais.... they are so sweet they give me diabetes.

I remember reading a quote somewhere which has stuck with me all of my life. It goes something like "There are 2 types of people in this world, one who feels great by making other people feel low and the other by making other people feel great". I guess everyone of us has to decide which one we want to be.

I am just surprised at the personal attacks being hurled at San and Shefali... but I guess its something people out in the public has to deal with...we don't live in a perfect world. but just in case you sometimes wonder why you keep doing it ( meaning spend time and effort on Sajha), there are many folks like me who appreciate your work on Sajha so please keep it running.

A suggestion..when you feature someone next, maybe you could post pictures of the person in some sort of their daily activity and not just them standing up or sitting down so that it does not look like they are being featured for their physical beauty. This would more to the subject's personality cuz I am sure a lot of Sajha visitors are not exaclty super model variety and they would feel more comfortable being fearured as you mentioned "as a just a regular Sajha visitor". Having said that of course, having someone like Shefali is always easy on eyes... ;)
