This Royal Wedding will definitely go down as the Wedding of the Decade to say the least. What a couple! Talk of elegance and charm.

Its everywhere on TV. Its SICK! We cant ignore it.

Anyhow, I just heard from one of my friend that they are honeymooning in Nepal. So, checked it online and seems true.

2.4 billion people probably watched the wedding ceremony live.  So, this is historic.  I don't think we will again see wedding of this magnitude again in our life time.

 I am still wondering who got invited from Nepal.  If Nepal still had monarchy, perhaps Gyanendra would've been there.  Since that's not the case, did Nepalese president or prime minister get invited?  Or was Nepal just got ignored as a banana republic?  I am curious.

As far as I know...they invited only common wealth monarch. So Nepal wouldnt have been got invited even in that case. But why this fuss about this wedding...I am OK with British getting excited...wouldn't complain even if Ausies or New Zealanders are happy for it...but why...Nepali???...why Indians? why Americans??...am I missing something??

Its amazing to see how many people are still after the medieval times political system such as Royals and Monarchs.

While I get your frustration about the Royal Wedding, and I couldn't care less about it myself, this might just be the revenge for Paris Hilton, Lady Gaga, president's pets/exercise habits/wife's dresses, Anna Nicole Smith, et cetera ad infinitum. It is over now and the news can go back to women sueing malls for falling into fountains or whether Britney's too fat for her new dress.
