A rectangular wimming pool is 75 ft long, 30 ft wide , 12 feet deep at the deep end, and 4 feet deep at the shallow end. If the pool filled by pumping water into it at the rate of 50 cubic ft per min , how fast water level rising when it is 4 ft deep at the end?

( 70X30x4)/50 cubic fit per min = 140 mins.

I have no idea about the wimming pool, but if it was the swimming pool,

when the water reaches the 4 ft deep area, it implies the 12 ft deep area is already filled. Hence, whole length and breadth is considered.

Flow rate: 50 cu.ft/min
Area: 75 * 30 sq. ft

the rate at which the water will be rising is

50 / (75*30) ft/min

=1/45 = 0.02222 ft/min

= 1.333 ft/hr.

Once again, if it is the wimming pool, no idea, who knows the wimming pool may absorb water,
